Why We Built This Site
Indiana provides public access to many court records, but Allen County records do not all sit in one place. Trial court case information may appear in Indiana MyCase. Official copies and certified documents come from the Clerk of the Allen Circuit and Superior Courts. Jail custody records come from the Allen County Sheriff's Department. Federal cases in Fort Wayne use the Northern District of Indiana and PACER, not the county Clerk.
The goal is practical routing. Allen County has a main courthouse, Bud Meeks Justice Center, Small Claims, Criminal Division Services, and Juvenile Center. The correct record path depends on the case type, document type, and whether the record is public, restricted, older, or certified.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It is not part of Allen County government, the Indiana Judicial Branch, the Clerk's office, the Sheriff's Department, or any federal court. There are real limits to what a private site can do:

- We cannot issue certified copies of court, marriage, divorce, probate, or vital records
- We cannot give legal advice or interpret how a specific law applies to a case
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, address, judge assignment, or office hour is current at the moment a visitor reads it
Only the issuing court, Clerk, sheriff, or government office can provide an official record or certified copy.
